What?! Christmas, are you kidding? Just guessing what your response might be to the title of my discussion. I know fall festivals are taking place, Thanksgiving is still being planned, but Christmas time is coming.

This December FamilyNet will be your home for some great holiday marathons. December 5th you can watch 15 hours of Judie Byrd's Kitchen; just in time to get some great ideas for those Christmas parties. If you and your family enjoy Black Beauty, you will want to mark your calendar for Saturday, December 12th as we air back to back episodes starting at noon ET.

FamilyNet is your home to Christmas concerts. Enjoy “Larnelle Christmas,” “Jernigan Family Christmas” with Dennis Jernigan, “Gloria” with John Tesh, and all five Gaither Christmas specials.

We have a couple of kid’s marathon specials on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Your children will enjoy “Martin Cobbler,” “Prince of Peace,” “Candy Maker,” and “Michael the Visitor” to name a few.

Todd Friel has a couple of Christmas gifts to offer you this year with "The Big Question," and "On the Shoulders of Giants.”

And we will once again air Pat Sajak"s favorite Christmas move, "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians." I know, I don’t get it either, but people love this movie.

Thanks for being a part of the family! Don’t forget to tell all your friends about FamilyNet!

you can't go wrong with Larnelle and Dennis Jernigan. But I'll withhold judgment on John Tesh :) I certnainly couldn't play so who am I to tell you he's not my preference. I know my wife will enjoy the Byrd marathon.

Isn't it "santa claus" ? you may have watched one too many Tim Allen movies -- JK.
